Same goes for larger but lighter aluminum calipers like the StopTech or Brembo GT or Brembo (take offs).

The Akebono kit suffers from 2 major problems.

Weight (larger 14" 1 piece cast rotors)
Shallow offset - you end up having to run larger 18" wheels often with spacers to get it to fit on a 300zx.

You're trying to use a kit that was designed around one car and force it onto another application which is MUCH different.

For the money a 13" StopTech kit will out perform it, its lighter and I can run a smaller and lighter wheel around it.

I have zero brake fade and I'll test braking distance against a Akebono kit any day.
